Recent sociopolitical events bring both hope and despair. It seems like the consciousness of people around the globe rises higher than before and at the same time the tyranny and oppression carries on catching up. We think we need to up the game. If the people who make decisions do not stop thinking selfishly and acting ...more
Bells From the Deep is a 1993 documentary by Werner Herzog looking at different spiritual beliefs in Russia. I really enjoyed it. It shows some pretty bizarre things you would never guess were going on! A village private Jesus, ghost invested lake with a city hiding in its bottomless pit, healers, shamans and orphan playing ...more
To begin with I decided to focus on the oil. I read about maceration methods and decided to create oils using both hot and cold maceration. I also experimented with few different alternative ingredients. The last two variables concerned using whole pieces or powdered ingredients and lastly replacing dried with fresh materials where possible. I ...more

My research into Abramelin started in 2009. Firstly I researched different occult and magickal sites and from them I was able to compile a table showing variations between different versions of the book and comparing them to the Holy Anointing Oil of the Bible.

Macerated Abramelin Oil
I got my first copy of The book of Abramelin as soon as it was translated into English in 2006. I had already read the older translation by Macgregor Matters and became intrigued by the recipies for oil and incense. The idea of being able to recreate the scent inspired me. Reading ...more
We have a lot of snow falling this winter and keeping the birds well fed seem more important than ever. It feels wonderful to observe how they fly all over the garden, chase each other and search for seed, suet and mealworm under the snow.

I prepare myself for this years celebration of Imbolc and my thoughts drift to how I used to celebrate it according to my countries tradition. Catholic religion refers to Candlemass as the 'Presentation of Jesus at the Temple' but in Poland the name has much more pagan flavour. It derives from large candles called Gromnica ...more

It has been a long time since I have created my first magick bag. I did so during travel to Babia Góra (Witches' Mountain) in 2004. The bag has been created in a very similar way to what many people call a mojo. This bags purpose has been to bring a good fortune and to stay connected ...more

As I finish writing my short exploration of Dożynki Harvest Festival I am left with different thoughts. Living in modern, western society, a poor harvest hardly impacts our daily life, let alone survival. We live an illusion in which human 'mastered nature'. The sense of dependence so strongly present in rituals of the past disappeared from our ...more
During my Autumn Equinox holiday I did some divination using a bonfire. I put in some big pieces of bark and tried to focus on them but most of the images came from the flames and a big log. I have seen many different shapes. Some of them seemed to be a communications from the ...more
The roots of Dożynki date back to Slavic pagan times and the key similarities remain the same. Slavs would cut the last sheaf of cereal and weave a wreath decorated with nuts, berries, fruits, flowers and ribbons. The most experienced female reaper would carry it, in her hands or on her head, to the richest ...more
Myself and Agent M came up with the idea of this card earlier today. We designed it to serve as an artifact in a ritual to support the Yes Campaign for Independent Scotland. We chose the symbol of the Tower because our intentions focus on destroying the illusion created by British establishment in order to ...more
It's a cloudy and warm day here in the Highlands. Moorlands are covered with purple heather blooms, some leaves begin to redden, forests are full of berries and mushrooms. As I seal another jar of jams and pickles from this years yield of plums and apples my thoughts drift towards Autumn Equinox celebrations. I am ...more
I was intending to write this blog long time ago but I haven't. Perhaps deep down I didn't feel the time was right. The account I can share with you now seem more complete and honouring of the energies involved.

Earlier this year, upon returning from a visit to Krakow in mid April I became aware of unexpressed anger/fury I kept inside all my life. I began wondering if these suppressed emotions could be contributing to my health issues. I decided to release this fury in a ritual. It felt appropriate to direct the feelings ...more
